Alessandro Borgonovo is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under professors Guilherme and Rafael Mendes of the renowned Art of Jiu Jitsu. In 2012, his passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu took over, and after a couple of years, it became the most cherished aspiration of his life. He started his first journey from Milan to Brazil, the birthplace of the discipline, and then moved to America under the guidance of the Mendes brothers. After noticing him at a seminar they held, they invited and welcomed him into the Believe & Achieve project in California. Under their guidance, six long and fruitful years passed, during which he learned their cutting-edge style, training methods, and vision of Jiu Jitsu, eventually becoming one of the top athletes and instructors at their academy.

In 2024, he was promoted to black belt by the two Professors Mendes, thus fulfilling one of his dreams. Today in Italy, his goal is to share his experience and knowledge with the Italian Jiu Jitsu community with the aim of raising its level.
