Viking Wong

Born on January 17, 1987, Viking Wai Chun Wong is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete from Hong Kong. He is known for being the first Chinese man to qualify for and compete in the IBJJF World Jiu-Jitsu Championship at the adult black belt level, as well as the first IBJJF Asian champion. In 2009, the year of his graduation, Wong began training in BJJ. As time went by, his passion for BJJ took over, leading him to leave his full-time job in fashion to dedicate himself entirely to training and teaching BJJ. In 2016, after earning his black belt, he returned to Hong Kong with the intent to contribute to the development of the BJJ scene in his hometown.
