Tribe Jiujitsu
Tribe Jiu Jitsu was born in Rome in 1999, from an idea of italian Jiu Jitsu pioneer, Professor Federico Tisi. Initially conceived as the first brazilian jiu jitsu school of Rome, it has evolved over the past 20 years in the oldest and biggest network of jiu jitsu academies in Italy, with over thirty affiliates that spread all over the country from the Alps to Sicily.
Our mission is to spread Jiu Jitsu as a martial art, a combat sport, and as a means of self development. We pursue this goal by constantly training our teachers through a strict instructor program to ensure that every affiliate receives the same level of tuition, and we pursue it by creating a community of teachers and students that share a common vision of Jiu Jitsu, values and methodology. We do this by defining technical programs and teaching techniques designed for beginners, for agonists, for children, and for particular categories of users such as that of security operators.
